Secret Menu Made Official: Starbucks Debuts 6 New Frappuccino Flavors

6 New Starbucks Frappuccinos

Available now, Starbucks is trying out 6 new frappuccino flavors. Inspired by popular secret menu offerings, you can now order these fan favorites by name.

6 New Starbucks Frappuccinos on Menu

Starting on June 19, you’ll be able to vote for your favorite of the 6 new frappuccino varieties. The winning frappuccino flavor will be announced on July 3, and from July 3 until July 6, you’ll be able to order it in a grande size for only $3.

Red Velvet Cake

Starbucks Red Velvet Cake Frappuccino

This one is a pretty clear ringer for tasting like a red velvet cake batter frappuccino. It combines mocha sauce, raspberry syrup, vanilla syrup, and java chips blended in. It’s a great dessert shake.

Lemon Bar

Starbucks Lemon Bar Frappuccino

This is probably my favorite addition. Lemonade, vanilla syrup, milk, and ice, topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with caramel crunchies from the caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino. It’s oddly refreshing and ends up being delicious. It does separate more readily than most other drinks, but that’s nothing a quick swirl can’t fix.

There’s another secret menu version of the lemon bar frappuccino that incorporates graham cracker syrup from the S’mores Frappuccino. I like the current offering better, though.

Cinnamon Roll

Starbucks Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino

Based off of The Most Magical Cinnamon Pastry™, this drink combines cinnamon dolce syrup, coffee, white chocolate mocha sauce, and vanilla bean paste. It’s then topped off with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon dolce.

I think it fails to measure up to freshly baked cinnamon buns, but it isn’t half bad. And it’s one of only two on this list that has caffeine by default, so there’s that, too. Seems like more of an early autumn drink to me, though.

Cotton Candy

Starbucks Cotton Candy Frappuccino

Perhaps the most popular secret menu offering, you can now just order a Cotton Candy Frappuccino to try one! It’s basically just a vanilla bean frappuccino with raspberry syrup added.

It’s quite sweet, like most of the other items. It’s not my favorite, but it’s still tasty.

Caramel Cocoa Cluster

Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino

This one reminds me a little of Caribou Coffee’s Turtle Mocha. The Caramel Cocoa Cluster blends tofee nut syrup and coffee together. A layer of dark caramel sits on top of the frappuccino, and is crowned by whipped cream drizzled with mocha sauce.

It’s very sweet, and definitely more of a dessert than a coffee drink. Oh, and it’s the second drink on here that is caffeinated by default. And it’s very pretty to look at.

Starbucks Cupcake Flavor Frappuccino

This is basically the Birthday Cake Frappuccino Starbucks had for a limited time, only without the raspberry whipped cream. It’s a vanilla bean frappuccino with hazelnut syrup and whipped cream. It’s the same recipe as the updated cake batter frappuccino from the secret menu which replaces the discontinued almond syrup with hazelnut syrup.

It ends up tasting a bit like Funfetti cake batter, but I’ve always preferred the old almond flavoring that they don’t carry anymore. C’est la vie.
