Starbucks Giving Out Free Cookie Straws with Frappuccino Orders—Limited Time
Starbucks will be giving out free cookie straws with all Frappuccino purchases to promote Frappuccino Happy Hour, which starts this Friday.
You’ll be able to get them with other drinks, too—but they won’t be free. Not to worry though, because they’ll only set you back 95 cents.
You better hurry if you want one, because they only have a limited number to give away.
Between the new S’mores Frappuccino, the return of the Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino, Frappuccino Happy Hour, and now cookie straws, Frappuccino lovers have plenty to rejoice over. Now if only they’d bring back the Mocha Coconut Frappuccino. There’s always the second part of summer—here’s hoping!
The cookie straws are sweet wafer biscuits rolled into a tube, and then coated on the inside with chocolate ganache. Because of the chocolate, they won’t just instantly crumble when you sip through them. Still, I’d recommend getting an extra cookie straw or two if you don’t want to use a plastic straw.
The cookie straws are made by La Boulange, a California-based bakery chain that was acquired by Starbucks for $100 million in 2012.
They’re pretty good, and definitely pair well with the S’mores Frappuccino. Love that new milk chocolate sauce!
If they run out before you get one, you could always pickup a tin of these:
The hazelnut flavor goes particularly well with the new secret Rocky Road Frappuccino.
